WOODLAND KIDS:

Kids programming is available during all Sunday services. Learn More

  • View our beliefs and statement of faith HERE.

  • We start our services off with a time of worship through singing and prayer! We then will take time to share important announcements and receive tithes and offerings together. A member of our teaching team, most often Campus Pastor, Devon Shephard, will then come up and share a message!

(We encourage our congregants to bring a Bible and something to write with to capture thoughts! This is not required, but is always helpful in remembering what you’ve heard.)

Our services typically run an hour in length.

  • Woodland is casual in its attire. Dress however is most comfortable to you! You will see some people in business attire and dresses, and others in jeans and t-shirts! If you like dressing up for church, go for it! If you feel your best in jeans and a t-shirt, go for it!

  • We have free drip coffee available in our lobby!

  • Our Sunday services begin at 9:00AM & 11:00AM! We always recommend allowing yourself time to park, get situated, grab a cup of coffee, and find your seat! With that said, we understand that piling everyone into the car on a Sunday morning is easier said than done! :)

For those with children, be sure to allow time to check your child into their classroom. Check in opens in 15 minutes before service! We will be here to help walk you through the entire process.

  • We have Sunday morning programming available for birth-8th grade! See the descriptions in the section above for each age group. Learn more about Woodland Kids HERE.

For nursing moms, we have a Nursing Mom’s Room inside of our upstairs Nursery area! This private space is available to you throughout our time together!

  • Aside from our volunteer team giving you a friendly greeting, you will not be singled out in service in front of everyone.

Whew! You can put your mind at ease. :)

  • Expectations of Visitors

If you are visiting with us, please feel no obligation to give. While you are absolutely welcome to give, it is not an expectation placed on our visitors whatsoever.

Those who call Woodland home, however, do follow the example of the Biblical tithe.

    What is tithing?

Tithing in the Bible refers to giving 10% of one’s annual earnings, productions, or possessions.

The Bible speaks in Leviticus 27:30 saying “A tenth of the produce of the land, whether grain or fruit, is the Lord’s, and is holy.”

And Proverbs 3:9 (NIV) says, “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops.”

Here’s what to expect during your visit to the Woodland Marshall Campus!
